Thyrsus Thyr"sus, n.; pl. Thyrsi. [L., fr. Gr. ?. Cf. Torso.] 1. A staff entwined with ivy, and surmounted by a pine cone, or by a bunch of vine or ivy leaves with grapes or berries.
