Amblyopsis spelaeus Blindfish Blind"fish`, n.
A small fish (Amblyopsis spel[ae]us) destitute of eyes,
found in the waters of the Mammoth Cave, in Kentucky. Related
fishes from other caves take the same name.
Ursus spelaeus Cave Cave (k[=a]v), n. [F. cave, L. cavus hollow, whence cavea
