vb. n. Puckering.] [From Poke a pocket, small bag.]
To gather into small folds or wrinkles; to contract into
ridges and furrows; to corrugate; -- often with up; as, to
pucker up the mouth. ``His skin [was] puckered up in
wrinkles.' --Spectator.
