They bear bright red berries of about the size of cherries. Jerusalem oak (Bot.), an aromatic goosefoot (Chenopodium Botrys), common about houses and along roadsides. Jerusalem sage (Bot.), a perennial herb of the Mint family (Phlomis tuberosa).
