Luxuries Luxury Lux"u*ry, n.; pl. Luxuries. [L. luxuria, fr. luxus:

1. A free indulgence in costly food, dress, furniture, or
anything expensive which gratifies the appetites or
tastes.
Riches expose a man to pride and luxury.
