Phoxinus, Notropis, or Minnilus, and Rhinichthys.
2. (Zo["o]l.) Any of numerous small American cyprinodont
fishes of the genus Fundulus, and related genera. They
live both in fresh and in salt water. Called also
killifish, minny, and mummichog. Mammilliform
