Doncella Don*cel"la, n. [Sp., lit., a maid. Cf. Damsel.] (Zo["o]l.) A handsome fish of Florida and the West Indies (Platyglossus radiatus). The name is applied also to the ladyfish (Harpe rufa) of the same region.
