Colchicum Colchicum Col"chi*cum, n. [L., a plant with a poisonous root,
fr. Colchicus Colchian, fr. Colchis, Gr. ?, an ancient
province in Asia, east of the Black Sea, where was the home
of Media the sorceress.] (Bot.)
