Calotropis gigantea Mudar Mu"dar, n. [Hind. mad[=a]r.] (Bot.)
Either one of two asclepiadaceous shrubs (Calotropis
gigantea, and C. procera), which furnish a strong and
valuable fiber. The acrid milky juice is used medicinally.
