Roman wormwood (Bot.), an American weed (Ambrosia artemisi[ae]folia); hogweed. Tree wormwood (Bot.), a species of Artemisia (probably Artemisia variabilis) with woody stems. Wormwood hare (Zo["o]l.), a variety of the common hare (Lepus timidus); -- so named from its color.
